How We'd Like To Build For The Future

Ah Yes! Modern life. We have so much to be thankful for, or... at least we should be thankful. Many have purchased our life style with their own lives. Sometimes it’s easy to forget as they’re no longer here. Those people of this first free nation sacrificed 50% of there population just to settle here.

It wasn’t much easier even 100 years after the pilgrims landed at Plymouth. Francis Scott Key wrote the lyric to The Star Spangled Banner while watching our country men die just holding up our flag in battle against the British.

Even now our country struggles as its basic five redeeming values wither in the hearts of so many of our would be country men. The only reason the pilgrims survived at all was because of these five values.

The 5 Values

  • Faith in God’s revelation, our fellow man, and ourselves.

  • Morality primarily to God’s law and then to our own laws.

  • Written Law, the map and instruction to maintain civil structure.

  • Education, morale societies don’t exist very long without clear review of their own law.

  • Liberty is the only way we know... what we know. As we daily demonstrate our understanding, without coercion, we set our reputation and demonstrate our knowledge.

However, our enemies know where to attack us. How many times have we been told God is dead; celebrate the human body with everyone; laws are old fashioned; we need only be educated in the latest technology; and liberty is bought with money.

So, this is the first quality I would like to sow here. Technology is only as good as the education of those using it. Basically if you can’t build it or manage it yourself you are becoming a slave. If you rely on a cell phone for entertainment, education, communication, and a sense of worth; it can only be used as a flash light for a short time when the power goes out. Cell phones teach people to trust the system and not their own thoughts. When we give the likes of Facebook, Google, and Twitter the right to tell us what we think oh boy, slavery here we come. So many lives given so we can surrender to not?

So, we decided to start all over again. We’re going to attempt to build Community Resource Centers. These centers will be using all of the ideas and tech (especially! non computer tech) we’ve discovered to grow, make, and build the essentials of life. We have found flaws in the conventional thinking about disaster relief. The biggest flaw is that we’ve moved our resource creation (aka food) miles and countries away. So, when the trucks and trains can’t run we’ll suffer (aka starve). We believe that a few of us need to recreate renewable resources locally to stem this potential problem. And! if we can fix a few nutritional, social, and economic problems along the way… so much the better.

We are actively involved in the best kind of politics “local”. So many people we’ve met in our political responsibilities don’t invest in the local and primary elections. They think we live in a democracy and don’t see the need in voting in good local politicians. However, we live in a republic. Our local politicians can control and hold accountable our higher governors if we’re fervent in their selection.

In the Community Club we will focus on our

  • Blocque Store Recycling Centers

  • Supporting and training small local businesses

  • Building community self-reliance

  • Setting up proven education opportunities

  • Create opportunities to advance old technologies

  • Liberate the minds and bodies of our neighbors

We feel we’re becoming techno-drones to the powers that be and not the people of agency and self-awareness we were meant to be. We even think the Amish might have a few brilliant ideas we can learn!
